With wedding season in full gear, I’ve found myself reflecting on one of the weddings that changed my business and my heart forever.

Last year, I said yes to weddings that were bigger than anything I had ever done before. It stretched me in ways I never expected, and if I’m honest, there were moments when I wondered if I was capable of pulling it all off.

Then came the day this bride and her family saw their flowers.

They told me the florals were beyond anything they had imagined.

That statement brought me to tears.

Not only had they trusted me with such an important part of their wedding day, but somehow I had helped bring to life something even more beautiful than they had envisioned. In that moment, all of the early mornings, long days, worries, and hard work felt completely worth it.

Moments like that remind me exactly why I’m a flower farmer.

I love that God creates such incredible beauty from the tiniest of seeds. Every day I have the privilege of watching that beauty unfold, quietly whispering, “Thank You, Lord,” for allowing me to witness it firsthand. Then I get to share that beauty with couples as they begin their lives together, helping create memories that will last a lifetime.

Because of this couple, I opened my heart to taking on more weddings. I discovered that I truly love creating designs that are unique to each couple and telling part of their story through flowers.

What started as a challenge became one of the greatest blessings of my flower farming journey.

To this sweet couple: thank you for trusting me with such an important part of your day. Your kind words meant more than you’ll ever know. They gave me the confidence to keep saying yes, and they helped shape the future of this little flower farm. 💐

The flower stand is open today and Sunday from 9 AM–6 PM, and these gorgeous blooms are ready for you! Peony season is short and sweet, so if you’ve been waiting for fresh, locally grown peonies, now is the time.

For the longest vase life, message me to reserve your bouquet. I’ll happily keep it in the cooler with your name on it until you arrive for pickup.

How dreamy is this Orlaya?! 🤍✨

I mean, come on... I think this is one of the prettiest flowers I’ve seen in a long time. The delicate blooms, the airy texture, and that wildflower-meets-elegance look make it absolutely breathtaking.

Believe it or not, I’ve never grown Orlaya myself, so getting to see these blooms up close was such a treat. It definitely has me wondering if I need to find a spot for it on the farm next season! 🌿

This is a perfect example of how not every flower farmer grows the exact same things, and that’s one of the things I love most about our flower farming community here in Michigan. We all bring something unique to the table.

A HUGE thank you to my friend Michelle from Shell Gardens in Morrice for sharing this beautiful bouquet of Orlaya with us. These will be tucked into all of the special order bouquets going out this weekend👏👏💐

One of the best parts of being a flower farmer is being part of a larger community that believes in supporting one another. Here in Michigan, so many of us choose collaboration over competition, and that’s something truly special.

Together we’re growing more than flowers—we’re growing friendships, knowledge, and a stronger local flower movement. 🌿🤍

One of the sweetest parts of growing flowers is seeing where they end up. 💐

This precious little girl received one of our bouquets for her kindergarten graduation, and it absolutely melted our hearts to see her proudly holding our flowers on such a special day. Apparently, she loved them!

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. We are so grateful for the wonderful customers who support our flower farm and take the time to share photos with us. Seeing our flowers become part of your celebrations, memories, and milestones means more than you know.
