When I say I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished at the farm this year, that statement goes beyond growing a good tomato or some good asparagus. It references what our people do to help the farming community on a local, state, and national level as well. We care for our fellow farmers, our families, and our customers.

The 2026 Farmers Market season has likely come to its end for our farm. We’ve done our best to provide high quality fruits, vegetables, and art for you this year and hope you’ve enjoyed every tomato, asparagus, bean, pepper, or squash, eggplant, or melon you’ve bought from us this year!

We appreciate seeing every one of you each week at the markets! Your support and friendship mean so much to us!

We’ve had a number of memorable things happen to our farm this year, including getting the chance to represent NJ farms by speaking at the White House.

Cross your fingers that the rain slows down next year!

Please continue to support the other farms and vendors at Collingswood and Haddon Heights markets until the full end of their seasons.

As we begin to wind down our time at the farmers markets this year, it makes me reflect on how lucky we are to have five months each year with local, farm-grown produce. Instead of importing things from across the country, Mexico, or Central/South America, we get locally picked fruits and veggies from Gloucester, Camden, Salem, Burlington, and Cumberland County, to name a few places our great market friends come from.

Take advantage of the freshness of it all and join us today at the Collingswood Farmers Market. See some great options and try some new things! We’ll be here until noon today! Stop by and say hello!

Happy Labor Day Weekend! Get to the Collingswood Farmers Market early and grab some produce from us, because we’ve got another light week with some great fruits and vegetables.

Also, stop and look at Karen’s art. Made up of pine cones and other natural materials and painted to look beautiful. They make great gifts or decor for your house!

REALITY CHECK: As the summer comes to a close and kids start heading back to school, we count our blessings as farmers. Every year you never know what we’re getting into with the weather. Will the preseason weather be incredibly harsh? (For many farmers, including orchard farmers, it was.) Will we have a drought in the summer? Too much rain? Wildlife issues? This summer started well, but the past few weeks, the rain hasn’t stopped. And some people would be surprised to know that too much rain isn’t a good thing. Tomatoes and other produce crack; plants shut down and go into survival mode.

But we do the best we can and fight through it all. We’re back this week at the Collingswood Farmers Market today from 8-12. Same great produce, just in more limited quantities while we wait for our next plantings to come up. Come out and support your favorite local farmers! Try some new produce and ask questions about whatever you see!

The weather is just about to clear up, so stop on down shortly! It’s a fun day at the market as well, because today they’re judging a Peach Pie contest at the market later this morning!

It’s a “get here early or who knows what we’ll have left later” week at Collingswood! We’re in between plantings, so yield is light. Still great quality though, so stop by and grab some goodies! We’ve got some of your favorite art from Nature’s Heavnly Colors as well!

It’s farmers market time again!

When you stop by today or tomorrow, feel free to ask questions.

What’s that red striped tomato that looks so pretty? It’s a Red Zebra.

Are these little eggplants? Absolutely, and they’re super easy to prep and cook!

Which of these cherry tomatoes are the sweetest? The (yellow) sun sugars.

How do I cook the Asian long beans? (We likely have a recipe.)

The best thing about summer markets is the variety that you can find on the table.

At our Viereck’s Farm Booth, there’s so much to choose from today. We supplement our farm staples with color and variety to pique interest from our customers. We have a large variety of heirloom tomatoes, regular red tomatoes, a large variety of cherry and grape tomatoes, Asian long beans, multiple colors of string beans, Kirby cucumbers, fairy tale eggplant, okra, melons, lots of varieties of hot and mild peppers, and more.

Come early with a camera and get some great shots of our Jersey produce to make friends and family across the country jealous! We’ll be in Collingswood on Saturday morning and Haddon Heights on Sunday morning!
