Here is a little more about each flower for those who love to have the details. (You are my type of people.)
1. Campanula aka Canterbury Bells - They have a very brief blooming window - only two weeks! So we are going to enjoy them to the fullest while they are here. I love how the blossoms remind me of bells or fairy goblets.
2. Lathyrus Odoratus aka Sweet Pea - This vining beauty has the most delicious smelling blossoms. And their vines add some really fun texture and movement to our bouquets.
3. Dianthus aka Sweet William - A part of the carnation family, these multi-blossomed stems often carry a scent of cloves and sugar. They last for.ev.er in the vase, making them a very sweet addition, indeed.
4. Daucus Carota aka Queen Anne’s Lace - While the wild stuff can be found in any ditch or field throughout the Willamette Valley, this week we will have the darker variety that boasts moody shades of dark purple, burgundy, and pink *chef’s kiss*
Which one are you looking forward to most? Let me know in the comments.
