Nine Oregon smokehouses where one stop fills your cooler with peppery jerky, thick-cut bacon, and smoked sausage for weeks of road snacks and breakfasts. Most sit behind plain signs and gravel lots you'd otherwise drive right past, and the locals who shop them aren't exactly advertising.

Skirt steak pinwheels are back but this time we tried something new, Philly cheesesteak pinwheels. These bad boys have provolone cheese, onions, & green bell peppers. 🤤 $15.49/lb
🍗 we have smoked turkey legs & smoked ham hocks which are perfect to add to a bean soup 🫘.
Tomorrow we are smoking baby back ribs AND spatchcock chicken 😮
