Our newest seasonal feature includes perfectly seared Mahi Mahi, a Cold Water Lobster Tail, and Jumbo Sea Scallops, served over creamy Mushroom Risotto, finished with a Chili-Lime Beurre Blanc, topped with truffled microgreens and a fresh zest of lime.

Anderson Reserve has always been more than just a restaurant to us.

It is something our family has built, worked for, prayed over, stressed over, and continued to pour our hearts into year after year.

Keeping this place looking the way it does takes the whole Anderson family. The boys, Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, everyone has had a hand in it. From mowing and trimming to flowers, landscaping, repairs, projects, and all the little details most people never see, it truly takes all of us.

And honestly, we absolutely enjoy it!

We’ve enjoyed building something that has become near and dear to so many people. We enjoy the work it takes to make this place feel special. We enjoy watching regulars bring their friends and families here. We enjoy seeing guests slow down, take in the view, enjoy a meal, and appreciate the experience.

There is a lot of effort behind what people see when they walk through our doors, but it is worth it every time someone tells us Anderson Reserve feels like a place they want to come back to.

That means the world to us!

From Sweet to Star, we are so grateful for the support!

Prime American Steakhouse is being built from the same heart that created Anderson Reserve, great food, hospitality, family, community, and a love for Idaho.

It was incredible to hear so many people cheering for Prime during the Star parade and asking when we open.

🇺🇸 Anderson Reserve will be closed on Saturday, July 4th as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday and give our staff the opportunity to enjoy the holiday with their friends and family.

We are proud to be part of the Star Hometown Celebration Parade in Star, Idaho! The parade starts at 10:00 AM, and we’d love to see you there as the community comes together for one heck of a celebration.

Anderson Reserve was proud to sponsor Emmett Little League this season, and today we received the kind of thank you that reminds us exactly why supporting local kids matters.

Emmett Little League had 14 teams this spring, including growth across tee ball, minors, majors, intermediate, and seniors. Even better, the league is continuing to grow and is working to add softball so more kids have a place to play.

Youth sports teach kids more than how to hit, throw, and catch. They teach teamwork, discipline, confidence, effort, sportsmanship, and how to be part of something bigger than themselves.

To the players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and board members who make Emmett Little League happen. Thank You. Programs like this do not run without a lot of time, energy, and heart behind the scenes.

We are grateful Anderson Reserve could be a small part of it.

Very excited for this next chapter.

What started as an idea nearly two years ago is finally becoming reality. Grateful for everyone helping bring Prime American Steakhouse to life and thankful for the support we’ve received along the way.

Star, Idaho. We can’t wait to be part of the community!

Big milestone yesterday for Prime American Steakhouse as we officially made it through Design Review with the City of Star.

Huge thank you to the City, Mayor Chadwick, city staff, board members, architects, engineers, and everyone helping bring this vision to life. After nearly two years of planning, we’re excited to finally begin this next chapter.

Star, Idaho. We’re coming!

Had the chance to sit down with Nick Clark on the Play Hard & Love Big Radio podcast right here at Anderson Reserve and it turned into a really special conversation.

We got into the story behind this place. Where it started, what it took to build it, and what keeps us going every single day.

From our family roots in the butcher business back in 1947. To long days, late nights, and even a few moments where we weren’t sure how it was all going to come together.

This place was built on hard work, grit, and a belief in doing things the right way.

We also talked a lot about hospitality because to me, that’s what this is really all about.

“Come as a customer, leave as a friend.” That’s not just a line, that’s how we try to treat every single person who walks through our doors.
