⚠️🌶️ IMPORTANT FOOD SAFETY UPDATE — FRESH JALAPEÑO RECALL 🌶️⚠️

Ruth’s BBQ Family, there is currently an ACTIVE RECALL involving certain fresh jalapeños connected to a supplier sourcing from the Sinaloa area of Mexico due to potential Salmonella contamination.

Because we are unable to confidently verify the origin of the fresh jalapeños available to us, we are choosing to take EXTRA PRECAUTIONS.

THE SAFETY OF OUR CUSTOMERS COMES FIRST. PERIOD. ❤️🔥

Effective immediately:

🔥 TEXAS TWINKIES will be REMOVED from our Triple Smokehouse Waffle Trays and replaced with:

🥩 1/2 LB OF OUR SMOKED BRISKET BURNT ENDS!

AND...

🧀🌶️ Our JALAPEÑO POPPER MAC & CHEESE will temporarily be replaced with RUTH'S SMOKEHOUSE BACON MAC & CHEESE...NO JALAPEÑOS WILL BE USED...

We would rather make an adjustment to our menu than take an unnecessary chance with the people who trust us to feed their families.

🙏❤️ JOYFUL SWIRLS — MORE THAN JUST A BUSINESS ❤️🙏

Today we had the blessing of spending some time with Fernando & Nikki Lawhon, owners of Joyful Swirls, and I can tell you—this is a great Christian family doing BIG things for God’s Kingdom!

We shared stories, listened to testimonies, talked about what God has done and what He is still doing...and yes, a few tears were shed. 🙌😭

There’s something powerful about sitting with other believers and hearing how God has moved in their lives. It reminds you that our businesses, our gifts, and the doors God opens for us are about so much more than making a living—they can become opportunities to serve people, love people, and point people toward JESUS.

Our prayer for Fernando, Nikki, their family, and Joyful Swirls:

Father...
continue to bless the work of their hands. Give them favor beyond anything they could accomplish on their own. Send the right people through their doors at the right time. And Lord, let Joyful Swirls become a BEACON OF LIGHT to those wandering in the darkness.
