Our Story
Our story begins in 1985, back when Priscilla Moore began baking cheesecakes in her own kitchen using her family's recipe. Many door-to-door sales, convinced local chefs, and satisfied customers later, Priscilla opened the business that would become Pocono Cheesecake Factory. More than 30 years later, we've expanded our menu and our store to include many more delectable treats. But don't worry -- everything about us is still local. We're still locally owned, we still use local ingredients, and we still bake all our good fresh daily. We invite one and all to stop by, grab a bite, and taste for yourself what we've been proving for over three decades: You don't have to be from new York to know good cheesecake.
