Due to an increase of questions about the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), please see the important information below.

• Applicants must apply online at https://agi.alabama.gov/farmersmarket/
• Applicants must reapply every year.
• Applicants must be 60 years of age or older on the day of application.
• Applicants’ gross household income must not exceed these limits:
o $2,248 monthly … for a household of … 1
o $3,041 monthly … for a household of … 2
o $4,109 monthly … for a household of ... 3
o $4,958 monthly … for a household of ... 4

Unfortunately, applications cannot be taken over the phone or by mail.

You will need your card number to renew that card and submit your application. If eligible and your application submission is completed, a benefit card will be mailed to the address provided on the application for new recipients.

ok folks, we've held out hope for as long as we can but once again we have a down pour at the farm.
Due to all of this rain during the Spring and early Summer, Pete is still unable to work the fields. We had squash, zucchini, okra, tomatoes, corn and other veggies planted, but they have been in standing water and saturated soil for far too long. With that being said,
We will be CLOSED at the farm until Fall.

Update on The Farm .....
due to Pete 's health and the weather (all this rain), we are behind at the farm. We have some things planted and it was actually dry enough for Pete to get some plowing done today. Fresh veggies are coming !!!

Good morning , Fourmile Farms will not be at the Sylacauga farmers market Friday but our market at the farm will be open it’s normal hours !! We are stocked and ready , come see us !
