Rain or shine, the Jackson County Farmers Market meets every Saturday from 9-12:00, at Bridge Park in Sylva. Why do we set up when it’s raining? Simple, the vegetables keep growing, the hens keep laying, the bread and pastry bakers keep baking, the coffee roaster keeps roasting…fresh food happens regardless of the weather…and we are grateful to our loyal customers who show up on a rainy saturday. It’s not just your purchases that sustain us, your smiles and conversation do so as well.
