So itโs been a while and as usual a lot has happened here on the farm!! We have been super busy with all the girls practices after school, football games, competitions, Peanut Featival Parade, homecoming parade, game and dance, ER trip for Lia to get staples in her head, helping my mom with some health issues, one of the dogs got sick (heโs fine now), a trip back to Indiana, work, school and typical house/farm chores. On September 21 our barn cat Mama had her kittens!! She had 5 and 4 survived (No Name, Sponge, Bob, Gus Gus). Mama is such a good mama cat and is taking great care of her babies. On September 29 our barn cat Ninja had 4 kittens in the barn loft (Brain, Gariese, Hissy & Pumpkin). She was not tending to them and we had to take the sack off of one of them. We all helped to hold Ninja down so the new babies could nurse and get cleaned off. Ninja eventually accepted that she needed to care for her new babies. All new kittens are doing wonderful and growing fast. 3 will be ready for a new home on November 13 and 4 will be available on November 24. Lia was allowed to keep one kitten from the last litter and she has since been fixed and is now an indoor cat (her name is Nugget). Not sure the other indoor kitties like her much yet lol. We also recently realized the the chicken Lia claimed to be her pet is in fact a rooster (we got it as a baby ๐คฆโโ๏ธ). Anyone looking for a rooster?? ๐ The goats are all doing great!! Otis is growing fast thought I think he is growing wider faster than he is getting tall lol!! Pictures will be posted shortly!! I really need to do updates on here more often ๐ ๐
