First ever Vietnamese Community Fall Festival! I have attended the Tết Festival in the past, so I was really looking forward to this. This is a food page but there was so much more cultural immersion at this event than just the food. But you know I had to try some good eats.
BÚN THỊT NƯỚNG grilled pork vermicelli, super flavorful and fresh. I even added some peanut sauce to the noodles to really kick the flavor up a notch.
CHÈ ĐẬU TRẮNG black-eyed pea and sticky rice, this is a dessert but not super sweet and not something I preferred
CƠM CHIÊN fried rice, very tasty and uniquely Vietnamese
CHẢ GIÒ fried spring roll, nice savory filling of meat, noodles, and some vegetables with a sweet and sour dipping sauce
BÁNH TRUNG THU coconut mooncake, this had a mochi like texture with a coconut flake filling and some sweetness
