Tomorrow is our sale day at the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Classic in Kearney, NE. Angus sell at 12:30 with the Simmental sale to follow. I know you hear it all the time, but this us without a doubt the deepest offering yet. We have been very fortunate to consign a lot of good ones at the Classic, but these are a must see set.

Bull sales have been great, although we may not be far into February, our private treaty bull sale continues. Once again our open house is this Saturday starting at noon. The PT sale begins February 1, 2019. As we get into the Angus division of our bull sale, this is our bread and butter. Finishing out the SimAngus bulls are two stout made, heavy structured bulls with extra length that weighs! They are both sired by the LZ Farms Senior herdsire BIZ Pilgrim 40B. "Tommy Boy" is a WS Pilgrim son out of the W/C Prima Donna Cow. SB 730E is a performance based fall bull that is out of one of Carsyn's first Angus show heifers that we owned with the Straight Family of Logan Iowa. The other bul. SB 801F is a 3/4 SimAngus maternal bull out of the stoutest made, biggest bodied cow you can imagine. She just happens to be out of "Lexi", who was the SimAngus Heifer Calf Champion at the 2015 American Royal for us and Kadyn. Power in the blood and proof is in the progeny.

Last, but not least, for tonight are the feature bulls out of out premier Angus donor DAR Ali's Blackbird 1119. She was our pick of the 2013 Nebraska Cattlemens Classic offering that was later crowned Supreme Heifer. In this offering LZF SB 88F is the Blaze faced stand out Chopper son. His Angus maternal broither, 38 is sired by Insight. Now I have to stop and brag on this full blown calving ease herd bull prospect. SB LZF Intuition 38 finds himself in the top 25% of non-parent sires for YH, CW, RE, $W, and a 141 $B with his genomically enhanced epds. Owned with LZ Farms through tieir cooperator herd offerings.
