If you thought that Brooke couldn't get any more crazier. Boo Zoo spent the day at the Saratoga county fair showing at their ADGA show. Along for the ride for his very first show at 7 days old was Mr Francis. He had a great time watching Mom show along with watching his goats to do so well in the ring. He had a wonderful time taking naps throughout the show and said he's ready for Erie County Fair in a few weeks. Here are some pictures and highlights of today with one of our bigger accomplishments being our Boo's Zoo Mazikeen taking Grand Champion Nubian and finally getting her first leg! After being a bridesmaid about 10 times since she was a kid she finally got her leg as a second freshening 3-year-old. Another highlight was Boo's Zoo Devils Cut Bourbon placing first in a large aop yearling class and taking Grand junior champion in aop.

Due to no fault of her own Boo's Zoo Medusas Curse is available again and she is looking for a new herd. Working on breeding plans will humble you fast realizing how many you will have kidding/milking in the spring (and our own 6 month old baby). Last year she showed as a kid and placed well in large nubian classes. Her 1/2 sibling Boo's Zoo NE Mystical Freyja has earned 2 reserve ch. in the 1st 2 ring show she was in at 2 months old and got her dry leg in June.
Her dam is 3yr old 2nd freshener Boo's Zoo Cleopatra*M(pending). Cleo has started to come into her own as a 3yr old standing closer to the head of the line. She has a slow maturing bloodline that is getting better not just from year to year but throughout the season.
Located in Hagaman NY with transportation to Western NY in mid August.

One of my favorite shows of the year! Who doesn't love a 1 day 2 ring show and you don't have to clean pens after!

Saturday July 18th, 2026-Entry Fees pay for EITHER the two ring combined show OR the two ring junior show. You must Fill out two forms, and pay two fees, if you wish to enter a junior in BOTH!

We spent Saturday at the NYSDGBA/CNYDGS Show. Probably Brooke's last show of the year with 2 shows possible later in the year. We can say it was a good day! Thank you to everyone who was involved in setting up from showmanship, entries, keeping the rings going and everything in between.
Together we brought 7 Sr alpines, 5 Sr oberhasli, 4 Sr nubians, and 2 Jr nubians. All of our alpines, oberhaslis, and nubains had some great placings throughout both rings! Our does finding themselves at the top of the classes. It's has been bittersweet being able to grow our herd and expand our genetics.
Some highlights my Bridesmaid Mazikeen took Sr reserve in one of the rings. This doe has been maturing beautiful and has been showing me why I love my nubians.
For our Jr nubian division in our first ring BOO'S ZOO NE MYSTICAL FREYJA took Jr champ. Our first show of the season she took reserve in both rings. I am really excited to see what she turns into. I see so much of her granddam NEVER FAIL TZ Kymora in her 💜.

And last but never least CH Half Barn Farm VL Nancy Whisky *M(pending) took best of breed in both rings. At 5 she sure matures like fine wine.

It definitely was a long day at 35 and 1/2 weeks pregnant 😅 but I want to thank everyone who helped with this weekend and a huge thank you to Ryan Morgan for the nonstop moving around/showing and what ever I needed and making sure I was hydrated 💙🩵.
