Food has a beautiful way of bringing people together. 🌍

This week, I made some rainbow co**has inspired by the colors of the Pride flag and the meanings behind them: ❤️ life, 🧡 healing, 💛 sunlight, 💚 nature, 💙 harmony, and 💜 spirit.

As I was making these, I couldn’t help but think about Howard Ashman, the brilliant lyricist behind so many of the songs from The Little Mermaid. His work helped teach generations of us to dream bigger, embrace wonder, and imagine a world where everyone belongs.

These co**has are a small reminder that our differences make life more colorful, our stories matter, and there is room for everyone at the table.

Wishing you a month filled with healing, sunshine, harmony, and lots of sweet moments shared with the people you love. 🌈

Hi friends! 🫶🏼

Just a quick schedule update for next week!

All orders placed by Friday at noon will be ready for Monday pickup at 3 PM.

We’ll be spending some time with Jennie while she’s visiting, so Cafe Dahlia will be closed Thursday and Friday (June 4th and 5th) as we show her around Washington and get ready for our special event.

🌸 Don’t forget, our Flour & Flow Pilates Pop-Up is happening on Saturday June 6th, and we can’t wait! It’s going to be such a fun and memorable morning.

Any orders placed after Friday at noon will be available for Tuesday pickup at 3 PM. After that, we’ll be taking a short break and will reopen the following week.

Thank you all so much for your support and understanding! We can’t wait to see you this weekend and next week. 🥰

We still have plenty of room for our Flour & Flow RSVP event! 🥰

This class is for every body, whether you’re brand new to Pilates, getting back into movement, or already love it. Come as you are and move in a way that feels good for you.

I’m especially excited because Jennie, a certified Classical Pilates instructor, is the very first person who introduced me to Pilates through private virtual sessions years ago! She is incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, and passionate about helping people feel strong and connected to their bodies. She’s visiting us from LA, where she owns .la and teaches classes throughout the area.

This collaboration feels so special, and I cannot wait for you all to meet her!

A one-hour Pilates class

Food is so fun. 🫶🏼🤪

I love seeing our favorite childhood treats recreated in new ways that make life feel a little more joyful. The viral dot cake instantly reminded me of two things: Dippin’ Dots ice cream and a sweet Mexican bread many of us grew up enjoying.

So naturally, I had to put my own spin on it and turn it into what I know best… a co**ha. 😂🫶🏼

A little bit nostalgic, a little bit playful, and a whole lot of fun. Hope these make you smile as much as they made me smile while creating them!

You guys 🥹… I’m SO excited to share that Jennie will be visiting us all the way from Los Angeles, California to lead a Pilates class right here on JBLM on June 6th from 11am–1pm!

Fun fact: I never thought Pilates was “for me” until I met Jennie. She completely changed my perspective. After becoming certified, she made it her mission to create a space where Pilates feels accessible, welcoming, and empowering for ALL bodies and all demographics. Because movement isn’t just for one type of person… it’s for every body 🫶🏼

Jennie is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, and genuinely so inspiring. She has such a beautiful way of helping you connect with your body without judgment, and I seriously cannot wait for you all to meet her 🥹

The class itself will be 1 hour long, followed by complimentary co**has + drip coffee, plus the cutest take-home goodie bags 😭🤎

A little flour for the soul and a little flow for the body 😉
