Happy Saturday BMK’ers!

Shout out to City of University Place for an AMAZING night last night! That Oktoberfest was no joke 🤣🔥 We had such a good time!

What’s this pic you ask? Welllll , this is what it looks like at the end of the night, every night, at our commissary kitchen.

The dish fairy doesn’t do the dishes 🤣 We do….the cleaning fairy doesn’t clean the truck and get things ready for the next day….we do.

Having a truck is an entire process that most people don’t see.

An event that is 3 hours, is anywhere from 6 to 10 for us depending on what needs to be done.

Prepping, shopping, loading, organizing, staging, opening for service, closing, cleaning, restocking, drive time, all of it. It’s a science.

Usually, it’s anywhere from 30-60 mins for clean up at the commissary, depending on how much of a tornado Rubi and I were, that day 🤣

This dish pile here took about 30 mins, not including anything else. Then you have garbage, recycle, grease, etc….its a process.

Just wanted to give you a glimpse of what it looks like, since we have a lot of people ask us how we do things and many say they see us parked on 6th Ave in Tacoma… yep, that’s where our commissary is 😎

Happy Monday Everyone!

Let’s talk about grilled cheese sammiches……

As you know, we haven’t had them for a few months.

Why? Well…. #1, summer. People don’t order them in the summer time and we end up wasting product.

#2. For some reason, in the middle of the year, every time we turned the press on (which gives you that gooey gooey factor) it would completely trip the breaker on the generator. We would lose all power in the kitchen. So I would have to take off my gloves, go outside, reset everything, come back in, wash up again, and then remove Grilled Cheese for the day because we couldn’t do it, and waste allll the product. We have never had this problem and nothing in the truck has changed, so it was odd to say the least….

I have 2 electricians that we use. We had the outlet replaced, and I even checked with our generator guru and Cummins and he says it’s not the generator, so everything has pointed back to the machine itself being end of life, which is why it’s tripping everything.

Soooooo, here we goooooo 👊🔥🥪💰
I just dropped a disgusting amount of money on a new press, that should be here soon 🤣 so those sammiches you all know and love, should be back pretty shortly!

Luckily, I got free shipping 🤣
