🌧️ Due to flooding and no floating, we’re shutting down early at War Eagle.

Huge thanks to the amazing staff at War Eagle Resort for always treating us so well, and it was awesome seeing so many familiar faces from last float season stop by. We appreciate you all more than you know.

You guys showed up in a big way at War Eagle! We had to close 30 minutes early to re-up for tomorrow! We love the feedback we’re getting on the Bacon Jam, House made Aioli, Patio Melt and Big Ms. Steak burger! Thank you guys! We will see you at 8 tomorrow!

We’ve heard reports circulating that the Illinois River isn’t floatable this weekend (June 12–14), and that’s not accurate based on current conditions.

The Chewey gauge is sitting about 5 ft within the floatable range, and outfitters are operating.

Before canceling your plans, check directly with your river outfitter for real-time updates.

Bottom line: the river is ready-come float with us this weekend! 🌊
