Join me at the Ashland Food Coop this Friday 9/1/23 from 4-6 to taste samples of our newest wines.
Just finished labeling , this will be the first time the 2022 Sauvignon en Jarre will be offered.
Sauvignon Blanc , fermented on skins by native yeast, aged ‘en Jarre’ ( clay amphora) and unfiltered. A true expression of this grape in our vineyard.

It’s with heavy hearts and wonderful thoughts that we announce the passing of Upper Five’s MVP. Bud ( 1/1/2009? -7/10/2023) lived for 14 plus years and 13 of those at the vineyard after choosing me at the shelter. He loved greeting people with a wag and a woof, asking only for an ear scratch in return. He and his infectious love of life will be missed terribly .

We’re just among a handful of vineyards that earn this certificate, probably the smallest. We’re been certified Organic since 2005 and Biodynamic since 2017. We do it for the land, the inhabitants( human, fauna and flora) and for those that consume what we grow. Thank you for the support and inspiration 👨‍🌾👨‍🌾👨‍🌾

A nice post about a visit to Upper Five😊

Terry Sullivan and Molly Morison in southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley AVA know a bit about growing organic grapes with biodynamic farming additions. The resulting wines are exceptional.
