I can literally feel it getting colder by the minute. Our portion of this “historic ice storm “is heading our way this evening. All of the animals are in inside, even though some of them aren’t happy about it. Fresh hay and heat lamps are out. Now we sit back and make sure all the preparation was enough. Everyone stay safe and warm!

Let me tell you how bad a$$ my Meg is!

Big Mike left for Kansas today but sent me a message at 3:30 that ALL the cows and donkeys were out of their pasture at the farm. An hour away!

I sent a text to all the kids to head towards the farm fast for a round up.

Meg got there first, pregnant and in crocs, no less!, shook the feed bucket until she got “Ribeye’s” attention.

Then, like perfect angels, they calmly followed her into the pasture, single file. LOL!

Bonfire night was an absolute blast! Minus a little rain, food was great, company was better, puppy dogs were best!
