Hello my loved ones, I’ve missed you so much the month of August !!!
You know what I mean when I say it’s gone fast and slow .I’m so thankful to the Lord for what He has allowed me to accomplish even though I think I only achieved a small fraction of my all around to do list.
I did get to spend a little more time with my husband , my momma, my bestie Kim and attend a women’s conference at church that was such a blessing.
Just posting some pics of goodies I’ve made in the last few days.
I definitely learned something ( maybe a-lot) this month.

I’ve spent the last 12 days picking, chopping and canning up goodies for you among other things that needed to be done.
More: Stewed Tomatoes, Dill Relish, Sweet Relish, Pickled Sweet Peppers, Pickled Okra and Garden Soup😋😋😋

This week we will be open Tuesday July 28th thru Friday July 31st , 9-4.

Picked the last of our Asian Pears this morning.
Only got a small fraction of what we normally get and smaller in size than usual but still crisp and yummy 😋😋😋
I know some of y’all have been waiting. Didn’t think we were going to get any after last winter especially since we didn’t get our peaches and plums this year.

A lot to share on this post. We had a couple months of heavy rain and had to replant seed 2-3 times due to it being washed or rotted.
The good news is some things are coming !
As soon as I pick small amounts of okra, sweet green bells , sweet banana peppers and cucumbers they are getting gobbled up.
I will definitely not have bushels of anything this year. Due to winter temps we didn’t have peaches or plums. Every year is different and I’m trying to learn to roll with the flow ( Be content with whatever my circumstances are and it’s not easy).
So a couple varieties of Pears are doing well, figs and muscadines but they are not quite ready yet.
I offer Pickle Kits year round . Each kit contains a pre measured pack of herbs and spices , 3 packs in each kit which will enable you to make a batch of your preferred ingredient.
Cucumbers, peppers, onions, radishes, carrots, etc. are some examples for your pickling imagination. I’ve done shrimp and avocados !

Finally getting some goodies after 2 months of rain and replanting up to 3 times 😜
And now we need rain; that’s how it goes.
I don’t have any fresh cucumbers or peppers for sale yet as I’ve been hoarding them to make my goodies for y’all at the store.
