We had a great time again at the annual St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival event!

Served up our signature lineup of Legacy Gold BBQ sauces paired with smoked chicken, smoked pork shoulder, baked beans and potato salad. Our sauces have won several categories at this festival & competition. This year we took home the medal in the “Best Pork” category!

Last year we were honored to have my mother, Elizabeth Cooper attend the event with us to see the lines of guests waiting to sample the recipe that is making her and my dad - Bob Cooper’s namesake household phrases across the state and country.

A few weeks ago - on March 27th she went to be with The Lord, yet the dream is still alive in the Earth!

Bob Cooper's acclaimed BBQ sauce, Legacy Gold, traces its roots to a family restaurant founded by him and his wife, Liz, in Jacksonville, Florida back in 1965. Soon after, as the restaurant’s fanbase grew, the eatery expanded with new branches across town, serving mouthwatering BBQ meals that became a staple for locals for several decades.

The recipe for the iconic sauce was handed down to Andre, the successor of the Cooper restaurant legacy. Over the years, the sauces have made countless appearances at community events, church fellowships, outreach programs and festivals leaving a trail of satisfied palates with its perfect balance of flavors.
