With Mumma's help we've dropped the 3rd product of our Sum'26 Series (we'll tell you about the 2nd one soon 😊). The tagline is "grown here | made here" because it's true! We just experienced our first fruitful Scotch bonnet pepper season and the harvest is the main character here. We've a few jars remaining for our local village to purchase. For those of you living elsewhere plz forgive us as we navigate this our return to the food & bev space.... 🌱💚🌱

The suspended walls of the hydroponic trailer at Cherry Street Farm and Lab in Seattle's Central District host hundreds of leafy plants, vegetables, and flowers. Keith Tucker’s team has already been growing produce there. Last year, he said, they were able to supply a local food bank with 100 pounds of freshly grown greens. Now, they can do more.

The trailer that can grow up to two acres of fresh food at a time, using just five to six gallons of water per day.

Youth member DJ Canales, a high school junior, has been taking courses offered by Hip Hop is Green since she was in the 7th grade.

“I’m so proud of this place," Canales said. "I first saw it in construction. It ended up looking really good."
