The Historic Roberts Family Farm

The Historic Roberts Family Farm Please join our journey as we work to save and restore the Historic Roberts Family Farm! Please join us on our journey!

We are always open so please give us a call if you would like to come by! We are working to revitalize the Historic Pioneer Roberts-Theus Family Farm which was first settled by our Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather, Samuel Theus, in 1809. Its rich history is at the heart of Leon County's Roberts Farm Historic and Archeological District, however it has taken many blows over the past several years

and we are now struggling to save it. Our goal is to cultivate the farm back into a successful operation that can be shared by our entire community for generations to come. Now that we are in charge of the land, we will be taking on many projects from animal rescue operations, to organic gardens and large-scale hugelkulture displays, to grass-fed livestock, to the reconstruction of the many buildings that once stood at Roberts Farm. We look forward to hosting events, tours, classes, reenactments, and field trips to teach people in our community about our local history and the history of agriculture in Florida. We will be updating our page regularly to keep the community apprised of our progress. We need all the help we can get so we look forward to your suggestions and other contributions. Please help us save our history, help us save our farm!
