SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

15 years ago I bred my special horse Shawnee to a wonderful stallion and got a beautiful baby that I raised for several years. Her name was Sassafrass “Sassy” ❤️🐴
She was my heart horse but life changed and I had to sell her. I’ve missed her ever since and have always wanted her back.

Knowing how this feels we recently agreed to let Mr Waffles go back to his original owners because they REALLY wanted him back BAD. He was a great little horse but I needed something a little more like Comanche. Something I raised and trained. So I felt it was the best for both of us. I do miss him but I know how much he’s loved.

So after searching for a new mini, I found the perfect Appaloosa just like Comanche was.

🎉 Well folks, I got my Sassy back and she’s the most perfect little mini mare. She’s about 5 months old now and has already done two birthday parties and she nailed it. Everyone loves her and we can’t wait to see her grow with SandyLand Farmstays .

Its time to get Pancake fixed and my livestock vet is closed until January 🤦‍♀️
👀 For all the people out there who have livestock
🙏 PLEASE let me know who you use.
Not just for horses but ALSO goats, Llamas, chickens, mini horse, mini donkey, cows and pigs.

Unfortunately it’s time to find a new vet. If I have a emergency today I need someone to call now, not in a month.

I’m glad I figured this out now and not when an emergency happened.

HELP!! We got only ONE response.
🙏 There’s got to be some people available to come to a birthday party Saturday for two special boys.
This is SAD 😭
The 8 year old has had NO RSVP for his party and his brother turning 5 has only had a few.
PLEASE let us know if you can come help give these boys a great party.🎉

MOMS/ PARENTS 👀 I need the communities help again for a couple special birthday kids.
🙏PLEASE 🙏
SandyLand Farmstays has another mom doing a birthday party THIS SATURDAY at 3:00 at Tom Brown Lakeside Park.(by Connor Blvd)

🎉 It’s a combined party for TWO brothers.
The 5 year old ONLY has a few RSVP and the 8 year old has NONE. She said he’s not as social.

She’s afraid NO ONE WILL SHOW UP for her son who’s turning 8.
LETS NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!! *No presents requested*

She’d also love to have MORE kids for the 5 year old too.

“Belle” the dwarf goat and “Winnie” & “DeVille” our super cuddly chickens, PLUS our new baby pig “PANCAKE” will be at the party and we hope others will stop by to make this the BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY ever for these special boys.

We LOVE it when our guests have fun at the farm. Listen close to the funny skit they did with our sign. Hilarious 🤣.

These guest came earlier in the year to experience some of what we do on field trips. Sandra Huffman helps Leon County Schools find fun field trip activities.
We enjoyed hosting Sandra and her family. They had a blast doing the animal feeding experience, pics with goats on their back, goat races, archery and more.

But my FAVORITE part was the funny video they did.

This week we made a mini pumpkin patch and had the cutest “pumpkin” in the patch!!!
👀 Watch till the end to see the best pictures. Cuteness overload.

This sweet family was looking to carve a pumpkin and put their baby in it for pics.
So I agreed they could come use a pumpkin that we got donated and we’d feed it to the animals afterwards. A Win Win!

It was so much fun and baby Evelynn was adorable in her pumpkin outfit. 🎃
As a special treat they got to meet all the animals including our new baby pig, “Pancake” and Jack Jack the Llama.
It truly was a memorable experience.

I saw this the other day and laughed but I didn’t say anything to my ROOSTERS.

🤷‍♀️ Should I tell them, now, because they haven’t adjusted yet. Lol

We have over 15 roosters so when one messes up they ALL mess up. 🤣🐔
