thank you to some of our members who protested the hate speech in Gainesville and everyone who showed up to shut Richard Spencer down. We have had a handful of people who are wanting to keep bread and roses alive, heck yes!! Y'all rule!

If you want to be apart of this team the very last chance to do this will be at our next meeting. Sept 6th at 6pm. This will be a time for existing members to fill everyone in and then step aside so folks can take the reigns on this hard but worthwhile project.

Hello everyone!

This is a post very heavy on our hearts. But Bread and Roses Food Coop will be closing in October. We lack the member involvement that it takes to keep the doors open and sales made. We thank you all for years of support and ask that you help us close this store by coming in on TBA dates to shop the remainder of the products we have. Also if anyone would like to carry on Bread and Roses please let us know soon. We have lots of great equipment and our UNFI account really helps with affordable products.

Hello! The floors are being professionally striped and cleaned tomorrow so we will be moving a lot of stuff around and volunteers are greatly appreciated! Starting tomorrow am but going for a long time. Even stopping by for an hour to help with be amazing.
That being said the co-op will be closed for shopping for the day!

Shopping at the co-op helps to give local youth a chance to learn new employment skills which can lead to ending their cycle of homelessness.
