Ruby was my very first goat I purchased when I switched my herd to registered/show stock in 2023.
After her first freshening, I knew her udder was not competitive enough for the ring (yet), but let me tell you, it's competitive enough for the milk pail. This doe out milks all my others by miles. She's an absolute work horse. Not a single bit of excess fleshing on her and her large teats are perfect for hand milking.
She was commended for her shoulders by our appraiser as well as her rear legs. She's never given me a daughter, maybe next year will be the year. Way to go Rubes!!

That week back in March when the herd was haunted by the ghost of our herd queen Moon. They kept stopping every day looking into this shed where she had been humanely euthanized. She still had everyone scared of her, even in the weeks following her death. Animal behavior is amazing.

My short King 👑 got his summer clip, and we tried baking soda and peroxide on his beard this time. I think the results were better than the purple shampoo! *Bonus* the baking soda, kind of sort of neutralizes the stench on your hands 🙃
