We've talked about it and made plans to make it happen. Our first Silver Senior "Be Out" Day is on the books. On THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. we will host a Fish Fry for our African American senior community. Silver Seniors 70 years and up will receive a FREE lunch, all other attendee meals will be $15 per person. Meals include: 2 piece fish, and choice of two sides: grits, baked beans, coleslaw, hush puppies, and a drink.

This first monthly meeting will reunite members of the African American community to reminisce about the days of old together, to participate in the story telling production of history in various communities within the North Florida region, also to give voice to the future meeting activities.

Plan to join us for this great event, that's already being met with enthusiasm, pride, and hope filled expectations for the existing generations and those to follow. Our core seniors are ecstatic to be able to have their hand prints recognized in the history of this region.

The Panama City Food Truck tour was as advertised. Food Trucks lined the area for as far as the eyes could see. The variety of foods made one think it was an international affair. Being among the festive event, as the wind blew off the ocean water, added to the celebratory vibe everyone displayed. Bay County we will see you soon, for an upcoming April tour date.

A Black History Valentine's Day celebration for seniors including: transportation, a two-course lunch, a photo shoot, and a Swag Bag.

Celebrate a member of your family, church, community or organization for their selfless contribution towards bettering the lives of generations to come. Purchase a tour package or sponsor a senior for this awesome day. RESERVATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 7th.

Must be 55 years or older and physically mobile for transportation. Transport pick up begins at 1:00 p.m. Lunch program begins at 2:00 p.m.
Non transportation package is $80 for honorees, being transported in personal vehicle.

** All accompanying guest will be responsible for their meals.**

The planned tour for these ladies include attending the Beer, Wine and Spirits Fest, a mixture of over 100 combined brewery, winery, and spirits suppliers.
