This week’s harvest features our first eggplants of the season, fragrant Genovese basil, garlic scapes, purslane, cilantro microgreens, Starflower Serenity Tea, Strawberry Feels Forever Jam, and our newest farm favorite—Dandy Root Roast. ✨

This Father's Day, we want to honor the incredible fathers and father figures in our lives—on our team, in our communities, and beyond.

Fatherhood takes many forms, but at its heart it's about showing up—with strength when it's hard, with patience when it's tested, and with love that never quits. To every person who has stepped up to guide, protect, and inspire someone who needed them, we thank you. Your role matters more than words can say.

To the fathers and father figures on our team: thank you for the example you set every day, both on the job and at home. We're proud to work alongside you. And to all the dads and mentors out there, we honor you today and always.

Wishing you a day filled with rest, gratitude, and the people who mean the most. You deserve it.

Today, we pause to honor Juneteenth—a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the freedom, resilience, and enduring contributions of Black Americans.

At Living City Farms, our foundation is built on the belief that every person has inherent dignity and worth. That conviction isn't just part of our history—it shapes how we show up for our team, our customers, and our communities every day.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not just a milestone to commemorate, but a responsibility to uphold—through how we treat one another, how we lead, and how we serve.

Wondering what to do with your containers? Bring them back to Living City Farms! ♻️

At Living City Farms, we believe small choices make a big impact. Instead of tossing your plastic (or glass!) produce containers into the recycling bin or landfill, return them to us through your CSA pickup or any of our existing vendor locations.

We'll sterilize, upcycle, and reuse them for future harvests—helping reduce waste and keeping our local food system a little greener.

Thank you for supporting organic agriculture and helping us build a more sustainable future—one container at a time. 💚

This week’s CSA boxes are bursting with the flavors of early summer! 🌱🍓🥚

From fragrant Genovese basil and garlic scapes to sweet Mara des Bois strawberries, farm-fresh eggs, microgreens, herbal teas, and handcrafted value-added goods like Dandy Nectar Jelly — every box represents months of hard work, careful stewardship, and a whole lot of love from our entire team. We are seriously growing some amazing farm leaders (shout outs to all of your hard work — farmers: Emily, Jess, Mandy, Dom, Jake)

And speaking of growing things… check out Farmer Liz with one of our aquaponically-grown bok choy plants! 🥬

We’re not entirely sure what’s growing faster these days—the bok choy or the baby bump! This beautiful head was raised in our aquaponics system, where fish and plants work together in a closed-loop ecosystem to produce healthy, nutrient-dense food with minimal waste.

Fresh organic certified goodsss, fishies, microbes, strawberries, happy team, happy soil, and an incredible community—this is what regenerative farming looks like.

Come see us at the Stow Farmers Market tomorrow from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM for deals on deals on organic non GMO plant starts and fresh-picked organic certified goodies!

Wow... what an incredible problem to have!

Due to an overwhelming amount of support from our community, we have officially reached our maximum capacity for new Full Season CSA share members. To ensure we can fulfill every commitment with the abundance, quality, and care our members deserve, we will be temporarily marking our Full Season CSA shares and Weeks 1–3 CSA shares as "Out of Stock." on our webstore.

We don't want to risk overcommitting before the season even begins, and we want to make sure our current members receive the exceptional experience they've signed up for. 🌱

The good news? CSA sign-ups will reopen on July 6th for the remaining weeks of the season! We encourage anyone still interested to stay tuned for that announcement.

We are absolutely overjoyed, humbled, and deeply grateful for the support you've shown Living City Farms this year. Seeing so many families choose to support local organic agriculture means the world to us, and we're beyond excited to grow for you all this season.

It’s been a minute since we’ve shared an update—things have been moving fast around the farm!

This season is shaping up to be one of our busiest yet. We’ve already pre-sold 356 CSA shares, including 15 full-season (21-week) memberships! We’re incredibly grateful for the support; definitely have our hands full and our hearts fuller ☺️🌱

Assistant Manager Emily and team have been blazing through the field planting! Yesterday’s transplant was zucchini and onion starts into our living soil beds. there’s a lot of work that happens long before the food reaches your table!

We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share this season’s abundance with you all!! Yield big, farm fam.
