WE HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED TO SEEK CLARITY
We have been brainwashed to seek clarity. We line up our truths in neat little rows to support ourselves. We create boxes and pigeon holes to stuff with ideas and people. We shrink from the cloudy, the hazy, the space between this or that. It’s my tribe or your tribe, us or them. We yearn for a clear vision of the world around us and when we don’t find it, we create it, impose it on ourselves and others and we wonder why we feel like we’re missing something.

But there is another way. You can accept the haze. You can live in the clouds where there is no this versus that, us against them - only you, and the shapes that softly envelope you. You can become the Cloud Dweller. Let go of your ordered rows of preconceived notions and settled belief. Open your senses to the haze and complexity in the space between this and that. Embrace the shapes that swirl around you, the phantoms that dance on your palette. Find your truth. Find many conflicting truths. Lose them again. And find them once more. Allow it all to permeate your consciousness like the sea coursing through a sponge and accept it. All of it. Especially the parts you don’t fully understand. Once you’ve fully surrendered to the haze, and allowed the clouds to completely envelope your senses you will finally find your clarity.
