This is true for a majority of our events. The dates didn't change this year, just the calendar! We start planning every season based on the date of Labor Day.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the dates of the 2026 farm show!
We did not change our dates!
All fair dates are calculated from the date of Labor Day, either before or after. This year Labor Day is September 7th. The Butler Farm is always 4 Mondays before Labor Day making our dates Aug 10-15. This is as late as the farm show will ever be. Last year Labor Day was Sept 1st making the farm show Aug 4-9, as early as it can be. Changing the date would be a disaster considering the people involved such as our ride contractor, food vendors, commercial exhibitors, livestock exhibitors etc…… who attend other fairs -there’s much more to just picking a date on a calendar! So….. if you’re trying to figure out a future farm show date just count back 4 Mondays (4 full weeks) and you will have found the dates of the farm show! Hopefully this answers a lot of questions! We’ll be looking for you all at the 78th farm show! August 10-15!

SUPERPASSES are on sale NOW at all area Sheetz and First Peoples CFCU locations, and online at www.alleganycofair.org. Superpasses are $18/each and include gate entry and a ride wristband. (Grandstand events are separate.) They can be used any night of the fair. Superpass sales end the day before the fair begins, on July 16th!
