More people are asking where their food was grown, how it was raised and who produced it. Frankly, they should. Several years ago, we started FarmPixie with a simple mission: make it easier for people to find locally grown, fresh food, connect with nearby farms and ranches, and understand how their food reaches their table.

But inflation doesn’t stop at the farm gate. Farmers and ranchers are paying more for seeds, hay, feed, fuel, fencing, equipment and nearly everything else required to keep food growing and animals healthy. Supporting local food producers helps keep farms operating, rural land productive and more of our food closer to home.

FarmPixie is built around locally grown, fresh food and the people who produce it. We are here to make those connections easier. We are free for farmers, ranchers and shoppers, and we always will be.

Welcome to all the new folks here. A little about us... We are a FREE (and always will be) website that connects local farms, ranches and hobbyists to local consumers. We are not an app you need to download nor pay for. We never will ask for payment whether you are a farm or consumer. We were built by a farmer to give back to other farmers and consumers. We believe that locally grown food should be easier to find and source without having to go on social media to ask random people.

Another little tidbit... No matter what you feel about Artificial Intelligence, people are using it without even knowing it. Look at Google and what comes up first when you search. So if you are a farm or a ranch that want's more free marketing, AI will not search apps. It will however search websites and you will be found easier.

I don't spend much on social media to post consistently for FarmPixie... I would rather spend the effort on having people use the website to find what they are looking to purchase.
