Protruding from the Cannon Mountains until its collapse in 2003, lived a legend known to all of New Hampshire. The Old Man of the Mountain—five granite cliff ledges that together looked like the rugged profile of an old man—stood as an enduring symbol of resilience, wilderness, and Granite-State pride for generations.

Our The Old Man of the Mountain Bourbon was crafted as a nod to New Hampshire’s most iconic landmark. This Bottled-in-Bond bourbon is made from a grain bill of local corn, rye, and malted barley, then aged for four years in accordance to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Just like the granite landmark that inspired its name, this spirit is timeless and deeply rooted in character—featuring deep notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and a warm, peppery finish.

- Monitoring spirits aging in our barrel house
- Checking the stills & testing the liquid
- Bottling, labeling, and wax-sealing by hand
- Keeping our retail shop fully stocked
..and of course, capturing it all for social media!
