NAME A BABY GOAT CONTEST!
Our baby goats will be here soooo soon (hopefully over the weekend) and we need your help with the names! Here at Goat Barn Farm we name babies in the “theme” of their mother’s name. This beautiful goat is named Goddess. This year, we’ll be naming her babies after gods and goddesses, an/or anything else that comes to mind when you hear those words. She could have up to 4 babies so keep those names coming! If you name is selected you’ll be notified by me, win a free ice cream, and of course have bragging rights 🙂 submit and vote on as many names as you’d like. This beautiful boy joined us around 1am this morning. He is already bubbly and bouncy and loving life with milk in it. We named him Picnic! Congratulations and Bethany Gentile Morehouse! Come meet him at the market tomorrow from 9-noon!

NAME A BABY GOAT CONTEST 2025 PART 6! More baby goats will be here in just a few days and we need your help with the names! Here at Goat Barn Farm we name babies in the “theme” of their mother’s name. This beauty is named Meadow. She is a sweet and sassy goat and is probably one of the first voices you hear when you come to our farm. We like to give her babies names that have something to do with landscapes or things you would do or find in a meadow. Past names have been Fenn, Prarie, Graze, and Frolic, Shire and Dune. She could have up to 4 babies so keep those names coming! If your name is selected you’ll be notified by me, win a free ice cream, and of course bragging rights. Here at Goat Barn Farm we name babies in the “theme” of their mother’s name. This sweet beauty is named Firestone. She is the absolute sweetest goat and loves people snuggles more than anything else. So her babies will be named with different elements, and this year is earth. So anything that had to do with earth element is fair game! Some examples of past baby names have been pebbles and boulder. She could have up to 4 babies so keep those names coming! It’s been a tragic day on the farm. Our sweetest Teacup gave birth to one very large and not well positioned baby. After a tremendous effort by Teacup, Jen, Matt, and myself, we were able to get baby out but sadly he didn’t survive the ordeal. Mama Teacup is resting and recovering like the total champ she is! And even with just one baby in her she’s already giving us so much delicious milk I can hardly believe it. Little Uranium Glass, I’m so sorry you never got a chance to live in this world with us, but we have a special place for you in our hearts all the same. Amaryllis is up next in a few days and I know we are all extra looking forward to the little bundles of goofy joy she’ll bring us. 💔🐐❤️

Here at Goat Barn Farm we name babies in the “theme” of their mother’s name. This sweet beauty, who j coildnt grt a good picture of, is named Teacup. She is our oldest goat and the absolute sweetest. So her babies will be named after anything that has to do with Teacups. Some examples of past baby names have been saucer, spout, chalice, goblet, oolong, mate, steep, brew, simmer, ginger, tulsi, and chai. There are a lot of options to choose with teacup, either things you drink from, types of tea, how you drink, things you drink…or anything else teacup related.
