Tshirts were picked up today! We will be sorting through and putting certain sizes aside for those who requested them on our last post. The shirts will be available tomorrow for pick up!

We will hold requested sizes until 9/10 🙂

After much thought, many conversations, and a lot of emotion, our family has made the difficult decision to put Karvakko’s Market up for sale.

This is not a decision we made lightly. For the past 8 1/2 years, it has been an incredible honor to serve this community.

The market has been part of our family’s story for 103 years. Generations have worked hard to make it more than just a store; it has been a gathering place, a tradition, and a small piece of what makes our community special. We are deeply proud to have continued that legacy.

We hope someone will see what we have always seen in Karvakko’s Market, a business with deep roots, loyal customers, and an important place in the heart of Tapiola. Our wish is that a new owner will continue serving this wonderful community and carry on our family’s 103 year tradition for many years to come.

We also want to reassure everyone that Karvakko’s Market will continue operating as normal while it is listed for sale. We look forward to continuing to serve you with the same friendly faces and commitment you’ve come to expect.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your trust, your kindness, and your unwavering support over the years. Whether you’ve stopped in every day or only occasionally, you’ve been part of our story, and we will always be grateful for the opportunity to have been part of yours.
