2 days ago some time in the past, 99% of the people i knew, bet against me. “He won’t last 30 days”, “He don’t like working for other people”, etc. all types of reasons were mentioned as to why I would fail at this. What they didn’t know is I walked in with a HS diploma and a plan. Now 18years and 2 days later, here I sit, still employed, 10 degrees sharper, countless certificates of achievement, still have my own business, and continuing to get paid to do what I do best…Solve problems. i didn’t Have to be someone different, I merely had to execute to completion no matter what came my way. I say all this to say, never let anyone tell you what you cannot do. Some days No one else can see your vision but you. No need to keep explaining. They will catch it at the red light, even if it’s 18 years later. excuses

Almost 2 weeks since my last run. In the meantime I worked a lot, but my diet was on point, water intake up and i slept as much as possible.
Rested, well fed, and determined I not only picked up where i left off, i ran further and faster in about the same amount of time.
No magic tricks, and i still controlled breathing.
Even when i wasn’t able to run, I controlled what i could, what I ate and how much I slept.
Do whatever works for you. Just make the adjustment now, there might not be a later. Opportunities wait for no man or woman. Let’s work! ’tQuit

As much as I hate running, my body enjoys the results. So I’ve been looking for the opportunity to squeeze a run in.
I’ve got a super long day ahead of me but I’ve got proper rest and now I carved out some quick runtime before work starts. Can’t give up on something because it doesn’t happen the way or when you want it to. Stay in the pocket and keep pushing. Your opportunity will reveal itself as long as you keep looking for it.
