Avec nos amis de la Gueuzerie Tilquin, on a fait quelques expérimentations… Et c’est bon… Très bon même ! 🔥
De cette collaboration entre deux maisons belges est née la SAISON LAMBIC DUPONT X TILQUIN : une rencontre inattendue entre la Saison Dupont et la gueuze, qui nous a tellement convaincus qu’on avait hâte de vous la faire découvrir. 😍

⚠️ Mais attention, il n’y en aura pas pour tout le monde…

Het buitenbeentje van de club. En verdomme trots daarop. 🍻

Vlaams roodbruin bier is officieel Europees beschermd met een BGA-erkenning. Een schoon moment voor een bierstijl waar wij al jaren ons hart, onze goesting en af en toe ons geduld in steken.

Onze liefde tonen we vooral door te doen. Te brouwen. Te experimenteren. Bier op hout leggen en zien waar het ons brengt. Omdat we geloven in deze stijl en zoveel mogelijk mensen ermee willen besmetten. Met de liefde, welteverstaan.

Dat de big boys ons erbij wilden in hun clubje HORARB, vinden we een hele eer. Acht brouwerijen die samen hun schouders zetten onder dit eigenzinnige stuk biercultuur. En wij mochten gewoon onszelf blijven. We moesten zelfs geen hemdje aandoen.

We hopen dat deze erkenning mensen opnieuw goesting geeft om Vlaams roodbruin te ontdekken. Want dit bier heeft nog heel wat verhalen te vertellen. En wij nog heel wat experimenten in ons vat.

Wij waren al overtuigd. Nu hebben we gewoon nóg meer energie om te blijven knallen.

Lang leve roodbruin. En iedereen die er zijn eigen goesting mee doet. 🤘

Allow me to introduce you to our koelschip (coolship)!

This piece of equipment is pretty special to us! For those unfamiliar, a coolship is a traditional vessel for cooling b**r used historically by some breweries in Belgium, England, and Germany. Its most well known application is Belgian Lambic, or Méthode Traditionnelle (spontaneous fermented b**r) for those of us doing it outside of Belgium, but has other uses like as a settling vessel or even open fermentation.

Other than being huge nerds about traditional brewing methods, we’re honored to be receiving this piece from our buddy Devin at Dҽρσƚ Sƚɾҽҽƚ Bɾҽɯιɳɠ to continue the history of this coolship! A passing of the torch, so to speak.

We’ve got all kinds of plans for this thing and I can’t wait to start using it next year!
