The kids are out of school it's summertime. Don't forget when you go on vacation to not just unplug your water softener but you need to turn the water off coming into your house. Just unplugging your water softener will only bypass the water softener. Water can still flow into your house and you can develop a leak while you are gone. So make sure you turn your water coming into the house off while you are gone even for a short weekend. This will save you headaches when you come back from your relaxing vacation.
