2nd Shift: 3PM - 1:30AM $16/Per Hour

Job Purpose:
The Production machine operator is responsible for producing the product according to specifications to include machine start up procedures, line speed adjustments, material checks and quality standards in every product we make. The machine operator is responsible for tracking waste, reporting machine issues, participates in team huddles and helps drive improvement within the production team.

Responsibilities:
· Maintaining a clean machine and work area
· Following all applicable safety policies and procedures
· Following all GMP’s and General Food Safety Requirements
· Following all food Defense Procedures
· Checking seal integrity of the package
· Posting visual standards and maintaining visual standards
· Monitoring weight and adjusting weight according to Net Content Procedures
· Loading Lids
· Loading Film and maintaining records of applicable lots
· Loading spices and maintaining records of applicable lots
· Monitoring and recording all stoppages on the line
· Participate in process improvement activities
· Participate in team forums, huddles and escalation sessions
· Following other duties as required
· Monitoring Metal Detection and maintaining applicable record

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Demonstrated understanding and ability to adjust stations, drivers, and parameters to produce and maintain product to specification
· Demonstrated ability to perform change-over of size, hummus and topping flavors
· Demonstrated ability to understand common machine faults and correct
· Ability to read and write English
· Ability to complete shift paperwork completely and in a timely manner
· Demonstrated ability to clean and restart machine after jam
· Demonstrated understanding of importance of safety and quality procedures and programs
· Solid communication skills to interface regularly with production, maintenance and quality

Quality and Food safety Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Apply and enforce all quality & food safety programs in accordance with regulatory requirements, FSSC 22000 standard, customers and Tribe requirements.
· Take necessary measures when there is deviation from policies and standards.
· Participate and recommend solutions to common quality & food safety issues.
· Take action to continuously improve his/her process targets.
· Adhere/ follow the food safety programs in the department including GMPs, HACCP plan, and PRPs.
· Properly carry out the OPRP metal detector monitoring (For Operators on lines 79/PA3/PA4/PA5/P80-81)
· Properly carry out the OPRP Label monitoring.

Education and Experience:
· Experience in food processing and packaging preferred
· High school diploma required

Training Requirements:
· General Safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support production/Sanitation on the assigned shift.
Monitors, verifies and documents SOPs related to product quality standards, food safety, and sanitation.
Assist in communicating product safety and quality standards to company personnel.
Provides support in coordinating all quality and food safety-related activities including process and testing.
Audits sanitation processes and quality of work
Ensures that all QC instruments are up to date and calibrated. (Water meters, scales, thermometers, metal detectors, gas analyzers).
Ability to monitor appropriate controls, sample plans, hold/release system, code rotation, processing controls, and other production systems where problems may exist.
Leads final product microbiological, chemical and sensory sampling.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

TITLE: Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

HOURS: M-F 10p-6:30a

Job Purpose:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed to keep machines and mechanical equipment operating efficiently and in a safe manner. Coordinate with Plant Management to establish maintenance schedules on various machines so as to minimize downtime on production.



Responsibilities:

Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and instructions (Good manufacturing Practices, LOTO, Work Permits, etc.)
· Create and manage work orders in L2L, conducting necessary maintenance or repairs as needed.

· Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures at all times and ensure all Maintenance Personnel are following Lockout/Tagout procedures at all times.

· Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

· Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions.

· Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.

· Repair machines, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.

· Maintain constant communication with Plant Management regarding any maintenance issues that may arise so that Plant Management can adjust their production schedule accordingly.

· Assist in the setup and teardown of machines and equipment at beginning and end of shifts.

· Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.

· Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.

· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the blender will be responsible for following the batch sheet verbatim and adding relevant ingredients and spice mixes, to produce our hummus. Job Purpose:
This position prepares product for shipping, selecting finished goods for truck shipments. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely tracking of cases, pallets and all documentation associated with each order.

Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
Stage finished product for loading and load product onto trucks.
Unload raw materials from truck and move materials to warehouse storage.

Pick cases for Truck orders
Build pallets for outgoing shipments
Meet hourly picking target and department goals
Responsible for quality control by ensuring there is no damaged product sent out and no damaged raw material is accepted in.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Operate forklift, pallet jacks powered jacks as required
Complete daily logs.
Participate in team based huddles and improvement forums

Job Description:
Cleans all equipment and infrastructure in a thorough and efficient manner, with an emphasis on strictly adhering to Tribe Mediterranean Foods safety rules and procedures. Dismantles, dry-cleans, wet-cleans, inspects and reassembles machines and equipment as directed. Protect equipment during cleaning and safely handle all chemicals used in the process.

Hours:
3rd shift, 8:00PM-5:00AM

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Disassemble plant equipment and protect sensitive equipment from damage during sanitation process.
Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) in order to clean equipment and facility at a microbiological level.
Follow Master Sanitation Schedule.
Improve sanitation process by reducing use of resources (i.e. water, wastewater, chemicals, labor) whenever possible.
Implement corrective actions for periodic equipment maintenance (PEM)/spoilage and process cleaning issues as directed by plant sanitarian.
Undergo training process for the process of incorporating basic preventative maintenance (PM) duties into sanitation procedures.
Assist with plant's pest control program.
Assist with customer plant audits as needed.
Ensure security of all sanitation chemicals located on premises by limiting access and monitoring/preventing leaks, spills, etc.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
Follow safety rules and procedures.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school or equivalent (GED) preferred.
Experience: None required; experience in sanitation or food manufacturing operations preferred.

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
Able to read and comprehend printed and electronic information.
Know how to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

Other Requirements:

Must possess static strength to lift, push, and pull objects as needed, as well as manual dexterity for manipulating or moving objects.

Work Environment:
Work is performed in an indoor, manufacturing facility with close proximity to heavy and hazardous machinery. Some departments are colder temperatures between 30°and 40° F. Safety wear is required, including hairnet, hearing protection, steel toe boots, coats, rain suits, and other necessary equipment. may be required between plants.
