Our blind date with a used book are out on the self-serve farm trailer this beautiful Saturday! (on the backside) Along with specialty salts/sugars, dip mixes, lavender sachets, simmer pots! The only thing I’ll be making more of are the blind date with a used book (sneak peek below of what I have to wrap up), but when the salts/sugars, etc., are gone I will not be making more until next season!

Good afternoon everyone! Farm trailer is stocked!! Please note that cherry tomatoes and radishes are now only $2.00/container!! All peppers and cucumbers are only $0.25 each or 5 for $1.00. We have butternut, acorn squash, eggplant, and zucchini for only $0.50 each!! I am hoping tomorrow it’ll be dry enough to put out our blind date with a books, dips, etc!!

Hello everyone! I know the farm trailer has been pretty neglected the last couple weeks as I prepared the kids and myself to head back to school. Our garden is slowly entering the last leg of its season and I am trying to do my best to ensure it is really stocked on the weekends, but please be patient with me. Our cucumbers are soon being pulled to clean up the boxes for next season, along with slowly pulling tomatoes box by box. So get them while you can! We still have zucchini, egg plant, tomatoes, cucumbers, TONS of peppers, cut flowers and mum arrangements.. soon I’ll be putting out the last of our radishes (this time in containers not bunches) and we do have acorn squash and butternut squash that is also almost ready to be out on the stand! It has been a fabulous summer and I am so thankful to each and everyone of you that have supported us!

Good morning everyone! We snuck away for one little last summer break getaway before the reality of school and work hit again tomorrow for our family! We will be back later today to restock the self serve farm trailer! Have a fantastic Sunday, and good luck to all the Tawas Students and Staff returning to school tomorrow!

I put 5 overflowing quart containers of Detroit Dark Red Beets out on the self-serve farm trailer about an hour ago! We will not have more beets after these are gone!! They are only $2/container! And our med- large tomatoes are now only $ 0.25 each or 5 for $1!!!

We have tons of other produce as well (zucchini, cucumbers, variety of peppers, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, etc) and we are picking throughout the day to keep it stocked as best we can! Along with mums in a planter and cut flowers with vase. We also have blind dates with a used book, specialty salts, dip mixes, lavender sachets, etc on the backside of the trailer.

Did you know you can freeze tomatoes as a way to preserve them for later use? This is helpful for those who are not super confident or do not have the time and/or supplies to can them. We freeze quite a few gallons throughout the summer to have garden fresh tomatoes all year long. First we wash them, next we core them, and then lastly we stick them in gallon bags and toss them into our deep freezer until we need them. When time comes for us to use them, they will be pulled out to thaw, the skins pulling off easily, and we use them for sauces, soups, etc. This is a simple way to ensure food security and food quality among many things, when the off season rolls around and is simple to do. Our med-large tomatoes are now only $0.25/each or 5 for $1.00 and our cherry tomatoes are $3/container each weighing in over 1/2 lb, and we are always chemical free!!!

This morning I worked on putting together the last of our dried lavender sachets for the year. After all of these are sold out they will not be replaced until next year when we have more lavender, so get them while you can.

Our produce will be fully restocked tonight! I know we have been cleared out of a lot of everything. I am trying my best, and thank you guys for understanding and being patient, and as always all the continued support. With the uncertainty of rain the last few days it’s been to risky to put any of the other products outside of produce on the farm trailer, but hopefully we will start to get some nice clear weather to keep that stocked too!

We are still open, currently restocking, and have lots to offer! Self -Serve fresh produce stand with no herbicides or pesticides!! 230 N Lorenz Road Tawas City, MI 48763

I apologize we have been quiet on Facebook the last couple days, and the farm trailer hasn’t been getting the most attention! My children and I are shifting back into “school” mode, and I have put it slightly on the back burner! But that ends today!

We moved a lot to the free produce bin and heavily restocked our cucumbers (slicing and pick a bushel), golden and green zucchini, eggplant, currently refilling cherry tomatoes (chocolate cherry, cherry baby, honeycomb, yellow pear), have TONS of med- large tomatoes, LOTS of jalapeños and banana peppers, bell peppers, cayenne peppers, low stock on poblano peppers,. I’m working on putting more cut flowers with the vase together! There are mums in planters on the backside! If it doesn’t rain tomorrow I will have blind date with a used book back out there, along with specialty salts/sugars, lavender, simmer pots, etc. in the morning.

Thank you for the continued support, and patience as we juggle the stand, garden, and our personal lives! You all have made this and keep making this so fun and exciting for us, and we still have a bit of our season left to keep offering produce!

We have some mums on the farm trailer, thanks to my mom at TLC Farm and Flowers !! These pictures don’t even do justice to how adorable these little mums in a planter are! Stop by and check them out! They are on the backside of the farm trailer! Just $12!!! SELF SERVE. Pay box at the end of the cart. We also have garden fresh produce available, pesticide/herbicide free! I am working on restocking as the day goes on as well!

I hope everyone is well on this rainy morning! We have produce stocked on the farm trailer. It is self serve with a cash box or option for Venmo/PayPal! Unfortunately, due to the threat of rain all day we will not be putting our other products out alongside the produce! Thanks for understanding! Stay dry and have a great Saturday!
