Lots of “How can I get to fish at the DeLoach Ranch ??” questions.
Answer…..
1) Be related to someone I’m currently married to (limited group).
2) “I know your son or daughter”…. and they still like you (fairly limited group).
3) Fisherman that follow this FB page (best chance).
We contact expert anglers, people who can catch 15-20 fish, not just one or two, from followers when we need cullers. We are currently 1,500 lbs over stocked on People who can catch 15-20 fish, not just one or two. mouth bass. Recognize a face from a fishing picture? Have them contact me on your behalf.
And….
You are a Disabled Veteran,
You are a First Responder.

None of that you? Great, even better !!
After contacting me, consider making a charitable donation in your own name @ schoolfuelsanmarcos.org
School Fuel is a weekend meal program for underprivileged kids (disclosure, Jiro DeLoach is a volunteer Board of Directors member).
After entering a donation amount, a tab will appear;
“+ Organization I Represent” enter Fishing @ DeLoach Ranch. Send me a screen shot.
Private Waters” fishing club charged $110 person/day to fish this lake, so be generous it’s for hungry children.
FYI
“Kawakita” the DeLoach Ranch is a working cattle ranch. Do not scare live stock. 10mph everywhere from the time you leave the asphalt road.
This is my home, you are my guest, act accordingly.
No drugs or alcohol we’ve had a few “got stupid” issues. No smoking it’s all dry grass in a Texas drought.
Fishing Rules;
Catch & release over 14”.
You may keep all bass under 14”.
Cut 1/2 tail on all bass under 12”, if you are releasing them. This slows the smaller fish down so the larger bass can catch them. An 18” bass will swallow a 12” bass. Keep count of how many cut tails you catch, and how many you cut. Make photos of what you catch, we want to monitor them getting bigger & fatter. Post up photos to our DeLoach Ranch page.
You can keep a few crappie to eat, but don’t load up on them. (We want the perch & crappie populations to increase as bass feeders).
Stay on my side of the lake (dividing line is a row of phone poles). Other owners are “funny”
