This morning all of our hearts broke as we said goodbye to Samuel, a true companion and friend.

Samuel has literally carried us during some of the darkest days, and his presence was a gift that could never be put into words. His mind and heart were that of the best of horses, even when his physical body was failing.

We’re all better for having known Samuel and forever changed by losing him.

Please pray for our hurting hearts and how each of us will process his loss in different ways…and for Midnight Chance, our little feisty mini, who lost the leader of their little herd, his companion, and his friend.
