I know some of you have been waiting patiently for this years crop of honey to come in. Unfortunately, due to heavy losses of bees over the winter (nationwide, and we lost over half of ours) and an unusually wet, cold spring affecting the nectar flow and the Bees ability to stock up on nectar, we wont have any to sell this year. Usually we harvest the excess honey, but this year the Bees have bearly made enough to sustain themselves. We were holding out hope that with the recent warmer weather, the Bees would catch up, but there are just not enough blooms right now.
