Sugarloaf Orchards We are a 5th Generation apple and peach farm and the oldest operating apple house in Alexander County The farm was started in the 1800's by Isaiah Lowe.

Sugarloaf Orchard is located in the Brushy Mountains of NC, a region known for its quality apple production. Bobby and Bryant Lowe opened Sugarloaf Apple House in 1971 and continue to run it today, with the help of Bobby's son Ryan Lowe, who handles all the orchard operations.

The applehouse will open for the season tomorrow June 13th. We will have cling peaches white and yellow and cling nectarines white and yellow as well as a few varieties of apples. Also 12 flavors of bluebell ice cream. We hope to see you soon!
