Sugarloaf Orchards

Sugarloaf Orchards We are a 5th Generation apple and peach farm and the oldest operating apple house in Alexander County The farm was started in the 1800's by Isaiah Lowe.

Sugarloaf Orchard is located in the Brushy Mountains of NC, a region known for its quality apple production. Bobby and Bryant Lowe opened Sugarloaf Apple House in 1971 and continue to run it today, with the help of Bobby's son Ryan Lowe, who handles all the orchard operations.

Our hours are 9 - 5 Monday through Saturday and Sunday 11 - 5.

We have Peaches and Nectarines

Early Lodi apples and some apples from last season including Evercrisp, Lemonade, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, and Ambrosia.
