A change has occurred at Eggceptionally Fresh. I have achieved a SD agricultural egg processing license. What does that mean for all my devoted customers? Nothing. I have always processed my eggs within all the regulations (except reusing cartons, which allows me to keep my prices low.) I did this only to be able to donate my excess (small) eggs to the Tea Food Cupboard. All our eggs are quality checked by candling and weighing. I have not changed prices. This is Chicken Nugget (Nugget for short) he’s one of our guard roosters. His job is to keep our flock of hens safe. Alerting them to dangers overhead and on the ground. Thank you to all my loyal customers, just adding one more level of quality for you.

Chicks have moved to the coop. 4 weeks old and well feathered. Inside and outside areas safe from the hens separated by mesh so can get acquainted without harm. We will watch the night temps close but thinking won’t need heat unless it drops below 50.
