This was our day today 🫠 he could not stop looking and spooking over at the neighbors property. He was on edge about SOMETHING but I never could pinpoint it. This was the first day that he was so distracted and kept trying to drift out on me nearly the entire session. It was consuming him. After I let him investigate, it got a little better, but we had to settle for much more basic exercise today in just finding softness thru his body at a lower speed and trusting my guidance.
Its hard to tell what had his attention, as from my perspective it all looked the same as its looked for the last 115 days 🤦♀️ but it all goes back to the same basics in helping them find their softness!
Some days dont go as planned, and thats okay. Work with the horse that you've got with you for the day. Overall, this horse has rocked everything ive thrown at him and grown exponentially while here. I can give him a little grace for one bad day 💜
