I'm so eggcited to share the joy of chick hatching with a local classroom.

This teacher friend got the incubator from the K-state school extension program, but they give you a complete novel to read about the hatching and care of these fluff balls.

I gave her the cliff notes version and built and furnished her this pen for the classroom.

Went to pick up a few chicks today. I wanted to add new genes to the Buff Orphington pen, but I forgot a small box to take them home in... So, Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the result of not cleaning out my minivan. My new babies came home in this contraption, and yes it was originally ordered with chicken nuggets 😁
