This is why I knit with my own yarn.
I loved Monet’s Wild Canvas in the skein, but I wasn’t sure the skein really showed what this colorway could do.
Then I made a hat.
Suddenly the name made even more sense—the soft gray ground, dark wandering strokes, little flashes of rose and green. The colors don’t simply stripe. They move through the fabric almost like Impressionist art on a canvas.
Monet’s Wild Canvas — proof that sometimes you have to knit the yarn to really meet it. 🎨🧶
