The first rule at Pentamere Winery is simple: Drink what tastes good to you! And here at our downtown winery, you’re certain to find something to your liking. We’re family owned and produce our wines in house with grapes sourced from Michigan and the Great Lakes region. In fact, the name “Pentamere” means “five lakes.” To say we’re local would be an understatement, and true to our Michigan soul, w

e welcome our guests to enjoy some wine and good times, all with no pretense and no snobbery. Our guests are welcome to take a peek into the winemaking process and witness the beautiful transformation from grape to wine. They can even strike up a conversation with our winemaker and staff. Once we start talking about wine, it can be hard to get us to stop. Do what you love, right? And we certainly do – every day!
