In the spring we carry a wide selection of organic, edible herb plants, wheatgrass flats, tomato and pepper plants. Our Spice Room is filled with a large assortment of dried herbs, spices, salts, meat rubs, dip mixes and locally made jelly and gifts. The vegetable garden is producing an abundant crop of tomatoes, peppers, zuccini, okra and hopefully a few other goodies. Hope to see you soon!

Our Story

Prairie Meadow Greenhouse is a family owned business specializing in culinary herbs. In the spring we carry a wide selection of edible & herb plants, tomato and pepper plants.

We now host the HERBTalk Topeka Group, meeting every third Saturday of the month, 11:00am-1:00pm. Facilitated by Joanne Bauman, we will explore herbs medicinally and culinary, growing, harvesting, folklore, herb crafting and more. We will also have guest speakers, herb projects, show & tell and special events. Lunch option is provided.

Prairie Meadow hosts private outdoor luncheons, receptions, bridal & baby showers. Catering for your special event is provided. Call for information and prices.

Our gift shop is open for specials events and carries a unique assortment of gifts, handcrafted items, art work, blended teas, salts, seasonings, rubs, dip mixes and locally made jelly, sourced from the edible flowers and herbs on the property.
