One week ago around 10pm on 4/13, our first freshener, PAP Bristol, had triplets with Jambaās Pygmies Doubting Thomas (his first kids too).
It was day 146 and her udder had popped the night before. I had her on camera and she would cry every once in a while, but then about 9:30 she did THE CRY (iykyk). I was in the barn within 3 minutes to see kid #1 standing, screaming at Bristol, with Bristol facing her, screaming right back. šš¤£ We worked on getting her dried off until her big brother decided to come out head only. He needed some help getting out and soon after buck #2 came out with his head and one leg. š
Their names reflect the fact these are my last kids ever (I wasnāt even supposed to deliver them) plus a nod to my mom, who raised me while showing Samoyeds as a child.
#1 Doe PAP Fare Thee Well, aka Lizzie (one of my momās favorite dogs was Lizzie).
#2 Buck PAP Scuttlebutt (another of my momās favorite Sammies)
#3 Buck with wattles PAP Tarheel Talker (Scuttlebuttās registered name)
All 3 are thriving and healthy. They are black and/or black agouti. So very proud of my sweet doe, Bristol.
While Bristol is sold, the three kids and Bristolās dam, PAP Serendipity, aka Seren, are looking for their next homes. Seren is available immediately. The bucks will be weaned at 8-9 weeks old (6/8-6/15) but wonāt go to a home unless I know they will be wethered at 4 months old. Otherwise they will be available at 4.5 months old (beginning of September). Baby Lizzie will be weaned mid-July. If interested, please contact me via my Contact Form at www.parksarkpygmies.yolasite.com/for-sale.php (sorry the page isnāt updated at the momentāall other goats have been sold except these 4).
