TC-Typhoons Swim Club

TC-Typhoons Swim Club We are a USA Swimming Sponsored competitive swim club serving Perry and Spencer counties in Indiana and Hancock county Kentucky.

Our team is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, and certified as USA swimming coache

s, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time your children is spend swimming will be quality time. We are a non profit club, which is run by an elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and are encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraiser

Announcing try outs for the fall/winter season. Two convenient options - swimmers/families only need to attend one.
Monday, September 22nd 5:30-6:30 or
Wednesday September 24 5-6 pm
What to expect?? Swimmers should come to the TCJSHS indoor pool ready to swim with a towel and goggles anytime during the hour open house. To be eligible for the club, the child will be asked to swim two laps without stopping and tread water for a minute. We offer options to go to swim meets thru the season, teach the mechanics of all four swim strokes and starts and turns, all while building endurance, learning the life skill of swimming, and making friends! The season will run Monday, October 6th thru the end of February.
